I am behind the lens of Sol Flare Photography.
It’s, me, Hi. The heart and soul behind Sol Flare Photography. Born and bred in the vibrant city of Wollongong, I'm a proud Dharawal-dwelling, Illawarra girl with a zest for all things creative. When I'm not chasing after my 8-year old cut-and-paste of a tiny human as a solo mum, you’ll find me belting out tunes like the professional singer I was for 15 years, tickling the ivory keys of my piano, or strumming my guitar, banjo or uke (albeit with a touch of mediocrity there…)
But above all, my true passion lies in capturing your cherished moments and turning them into timeless art….for keeps.
With a decade-long career in marketing, I quickly realised the undeniable power of compelling imagery. The notion that a single photograph can narrate a story—be it of a brand, a family, or a couple—without uttering a word, absolutely captivated me. So, I dove head-first into the world of photography, teaching myself the ropes and constantly striving to learn more. My Canon R5 cameras are my trusty sidekicks, always ready to snap away, especially when a breathtaking sunset graces the horizon….look out!
I'm a bit of a wildflower with a penchant for the unrefined (aka- I can be a little wild and uncooth in my true ADHD form) and yes, I have a talent for tripping over thin air. But hey, that's all part of my charm!
During our sessions, expect laughter, silliness, and a whole lot of fun. My goal is to encapsulate your story through genuine smiles, hearty laughs, and those magical, sun-drenched moments that happen in between.
